Trailers
07/14/10 at 1:41am

I'm looking to unload my 30' camper as I just don't utilize it enough to justify having it set in my yard.  I would like to sell it outright, but the ones I see on the side of the road for short money don't even seem to be selling.  So I thought maybe I could trade it in on a box style enclosed sled trailer.  Something I could use for sleds as well as for motorcycles.  Are there any dealers you can think of that sell both campers and sled/motorcycle trailers?  The only one I've come up with so far is J&M in Agusta. Thanks for any and all replies.

I would go see Scott.

He’s a straight shooter and would probably give you an idea on trade value if interested, if you e-mail him some photos.

I would like to get $7,800 for it and it books for $8,500.  It's a 1998 30' Terry with a 16' slide out.  Front queen bedroom, center kitchen/dining/couch, and rear bath/bunk beds.  The slideout is in the center.  I believe it weighs about 6,000 lbs and it's in great shape.  I'll be opening it up tomorrow and taking some pics.  Do you know of anyone who might be interested?  I'll be heading to Augusta tomorrow after taking pics to speak with camper dealers about trades towards an enclosed sno-pro trailer.

That seems to be my issue with this thing, too big for most folks.  Excellent for a family with two kiddos.

Well there you go Blazin' . . . keep the trailer . . . and get into a relationship with a woman with two kids and you'll be fine. Wink Smiley

I found a woman with no kids, even better.  And she likes to real camp in a tent, no campers.  I'm all for it.
