I have an '05 F-150 with just over 50k miles on it and have yet to have any issues.  Just did the brakes and rotors, they were toast.  New tires last year.  Besides oil changes, windshield wipers, air filters it hasn't cost me any more than the truck payment.  I occasionally tow a 6,600 lb camper and with it had the 3.73 gear ratio, mine has 3.52 or something close to that.  My fuel milage on average is around 16-17 MPG.  Very good riding truck as far as comfort goes.  

Anyone develop an exaust manifold leak in their F-150 at approx. 50,000 miles?
