will trails open early??

has anyone heard anything on trails opening early? It seems mother nature is one month ahead of the game. Do you think they will open early?? Last few years the rail bed from phair junction to around houlton doesn't close for mud season,thats the only trail I know up here in the county that never closes. Cant wait to get out and enjoy some good riding this year!! I have a face book for atvs, search for "Aroostook ATV", I also have a web site at www.atv.homestead.com with a chat forum.

It's a possibilty in some areas.  I can see May 1st possible here in Western Maine.  I put up some mud season signs yesterday and it's still very wet in the woods.  Frost is making it's way out but still in the ground in some spots.

Yes -- we're hoping to open our trails next weekend barring much rain.

Star City ATV(Presque Isle)was on the news this morning Richard Howlet (owner www.Dicksatv.com )club President saying that they might open 3 weeks early up here. Boy I hope so. The rail beds are drying fast.
