fisrt im new on sled maine.i have looked at this site many times and was very interested in.back to the subject.i have a 07 iq lx 600 and need to change the front shock on the suspenion.the original is a cheap hydraulic and want to change to a gas rebuildable.wondering if a shock off a 06 classic would fit considering they are both m10 suspenions.didnt know if anybody has tried this. You're sure its only an oil shock?  The two shocks I see listed for that sled are a Ryde FX and a Fox shock, both of which appear to be gas shocks.

And it appears the fox version is only used on 2007 sleds, and the Ryde FX version is used on 2007 and up sleds.  It doesn't mean any other shock won't fit... if dimensions are correct.

The 2006 shock is a Fox shock also.

my sled is an 07 but according to polaris parts list the shock i have is for an 08 lx im almost thinking that a shock from a 06 fst classic might fit cause it used a fox rebuildable and it had the 128 m-10 suspenion
