Got the sled in november runs the nuts thanks for the help with the stickers and shock info.. already got 200 miles on it..... What octane should I run or does it not matter I run 94 in my Bike and Atv...It says it's bored 10 over (scratched on the head) What would that make the displacement?

Sounds like someone may have bored it out, meaning more displacement  Huh  Scratching it on the head is what some shops will do.  Generally you are fine with 87 octane but it doesn't sound like you know what motor work/mods have been done to it???  Kind of hard to answer your question.  You could run premium to be safe, but it may not require it.
In 2001, the electronics didn't have the capabilities to gain performance based on the octane of the fuel.  So if it runs ok on 87, I'd probably run 87.

I think I would run 89 to start with and see what happens from there
It may cost a little more at the pump but a hurt motor will ruin your day...

Ok, more info is good!  Still not sure of the motor work though.  Depending on what was done, it could be running at higher compression which would warrant a higher octane fuel.  Running premium would be the safe bet........but again may not be necessary.  Take jsa's advice and settle on running mid-grade. If mid-grade isn't available run premium to be on the safe side.

160  Shocked  Ya, that's pretty high.  Not sure what the stock 800's were.  I was thinking 130ish was average.  Run super!

Doesn't sound like the compression is too bad.  Listen to belt-stretcha, he works on Cat sleds.  Sounds normal.......
For backfire- Let it idle for a good 15-20 seconds before shutting it down.
