Very good article in the latest SnowTech on the Rush.  The chassis technology is state-of-the-art.  The progressive rear skid isn't the best part of this sled.........it's in the chassis construction.
I think we'll be seeing a lot more adhesive in the next 5 years.  My guess is that Yami will be next using it to save weight in the very near future.  The process is also much more efficient and cost effective in the factory which is what really matters to the bean counters for the big 4.
Also a very good article on the e-tec.  Tons of technology there, like riding one very smart computer.  The technology is amazing but long-term durability still needs to be proven.
Anyhow, I see lots of glue and direct injection in the next few years  Grin

Glue has been used in the auto industry for years.  Square inch for square inch, it provides much more strength than rivets.

Saw two Rushes on the trails yesterday.  And no other "top" 600s... except for one 09 Dragon 600 AKA White Lightning, driven by yours truly.  Grin Wink

Seriously needed a big bump sled yesterday for sure.

From what I read, it's been in aircrafts for a very long time.  Interesting that at 35,000-40,000 feet, the temp is at -40C........winter temps for sleds  Cheesy  Polaris has already claimed a bonus in chassis production.  The chassis goes together and conversely can have parts replaced much easier.  Pretty neat  Cool  Hope you guys had a good ride.  Didn't know sled trails still had bumps  Wink

Yes some very good articles in Snotech. Two very interesting reads on the DI and Rush chassis.  Impressive you can heat that stuff, take it off, then put it back in place and heat it again, then wait and it is stronger then welding. Shocked

Also some good reading on the rumors of soon-to-be sleds.
