Does anyone use one? I have been looking at them but the prices seem expensive. Any feedback is apreciated

I've been wearing one for a few years now and it's well worth the money.  Saved my ribs at least three times already.  There are several other folks on this site that wear them as well.

How much of the chest do they cover? I have seen photos but I am unsure.

They cover your entire torso.  Chest, stomach, rib cage, and back.  You can also order arm pads that attach to the vest, but I didn't go that route.

I haven't gone the tekvest route, but I may this year.    After a few close calls (note to self, when launching off a jump, don't hit the brake in mid air) this year, I think the tek vest as more of an insurance policy that you don't have to keep paying premiums on.   250-300 once, good for 3-4 years, is cheaper than one ER visit.

.... i found one for cheap money on an HCS group buy...  a New York club member worked with  Tekvest....

Tekvest took the money & orders...  the NY club got a pallet of vests  & broke them down & shipped them around...

I'm into a Trail Pro for low 200's.....

There are some leftovers on HCS  (dealers surplus inventory) for pretty fair money.

I'm not looking forward to hitting anything, but wished I had it the last time I went over the handlebars    cry

Do you think they might do the order again later this year. I use HCS but I can never use anything on the forum/
