After a few close calls (note to self, when launching off a jump, don't hit the brake in mid air) this year, I think the tek vest as more of an insurance policy that you don't have to keep paying premiums on. 250-300 once, good for 3-4 years, is cheaper than one ER visit.

.... i found one for cheap money on an HCS group buy... a New York club member worked with Tekvest....

Tekvest took the money & orders... the NY club got a pallet of vests & broke them down & shipped them around...

I'm into a Trail Pro for low 200's.....

There are some leftovers on HCS (dealers surplus inventory) for pretty fair money.

I'm not looking forward to hitting anything, but wished I had it the last time I went over the handlebars
