Also another angle, If you have kids, wife, or a significant other that you want to get into snowmobiling, and dont want to be the one always pulling their cord at those stops......then the money would be well spent. Plus they wont feel so dependent on someone else always being there to start them. Wives get bitchy quick if you start and go, and they cant get theirs running, or cant back it up..... been there done that. And allot of people looking for those starter sleds would be more apt to purchase that 03 or newer sled with electric and reverse before one without. Ask any dealer, im sure they will tell you the same. Im in my 40's and wouldnt be without e-start or reverse, and if i couldnt afford a new sled and have it on it, i would damn sure give up a weekend of riding and put the cost into having it installed. If you want to have it installed, and plan on keeping the sled for another season, then i would do it !!! JMO
